What is a P50 Fire Extinguisher?
It is built with marine grade, anti-corrosive components. The multi-risk P50 fire extinguisher has a super strong inner core and damage resistant outer shell and is almost 3 times more effective at eliminating a fire than your traditional steel fire extinguisher. There are also many environmental benefits to owning a P50.
Once you buy a P50 extinguisher from Eastern Extinguishers, you will gain access to our bespoke Extinguisher Management System, which will send reminders to your allocated team member(s) to service the extinguishers on an annual basis.

Key Features
Damage resistant shell and core
The multi-risk P50 fire extinguisher has a super strong inner core and damage resistant outer shell.
Kevlar Aramid weave is used to coat the P50 extinguishers inner core. The P50 is protected against scratching, chipping or rusting, but remains light and easily movable.
Double pressure gauge
Unique to the P50 fire extinguisher, the second indicator provides complete reassurance by allowing users to verify each gauge against the other. For use on marine vessels, one gauge is removed and replaced with a Schrader valve to allow the extinguisher to be refilled onboard the marine vessel.
Superior hose life span
Materials used are strong, durable and boast a 20-year lifespan, allowing the use of a single hose for the entire duration.
No Servicing Contracts
The P50 fire extinguisher requires no annual maintenance costs. It requires a simple annual visual inspection conducted by a member of your own team after competence training has been completed. It will need a refill after ten years or after a discharge. Our P50 fire extinguishers benefit from a 20-year life cycle, 10-year guarantee and is two to three times more powerful in their extinguishing capability compared to that of a standard extinguisher.

Our P50 extinguishers are durable, safe and effective. The powder P50 fire extinguisher can be used down to -20 degree Celsius, and the foam extinguisher has been deemed safe for use on live electrical equipment (up to 1000V).
